CCTV's Remarkable Construction Focuses on WINDEY: Helping Inner Mongolia Gain Opportunities in New Energy Industry
Recently, the CCTV-2 broadcast the large-scale documentary Remarkable Construction, which focused on the Ulanqab Source-Grid-Load-Storage (SGLS) Project, the world's largest integrated SGLS application demonstration base participated in by WINDEY. The documentary told the story of WINDEY helping the new energy development and low-carbon transformation in Inner Mongolia.
As the largest supplier of wind power equipment for the Ulanqab SGLS project, WINDEY boasts a total supply capacity of 1.45 million kilowatts. Each generator set from WINDEY is literally a colossus in the wind power industry. After being hoisted, the generator set is 110-odd meters high, equivalent to a 35-storey building. CCTV's Remarkable Construction praised it as the height for viewing the wind of the future.
In Inner Mongolia, strong wind prevails from spring to winter. Inner Mongolia is rich in new energy resources, ranking first in wind energy resources and second in solar energy resources throughout the country. It is not only an important energy base of China, but also the main battlefield for the country to develop new energy. Here, the new energy generating capacity ranks first in the country.
